JOB DESCRIPTION: As Director of Retail Sales I am responsible for the Service Department and Equipment Replacement Department. Total 2015 revenue are projected at 8.0M, a 30% growth from 2012. I currently have 4 managers reporting to me directly: Athey Crawford (Service Manager), Brandi Costa (CSR Manager), Craig Johnson (CFO), and Sherry Barner (Warehouse Manager / Install Coordinator). I also lead 4 sales personnel: Rick Kolias, Rob Kun, Cortny White and Justin Wilson.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: Working at Bensons for over 20 years has put me in several positions. I Started out as a PT driver while attending a local HVAC trade school under the GI Bill. Since then I have been Residential Service Tech, Commercial Service Tech, Service Manager in 1999. My current position was obtained in 2005. I Received my Florida Mechanical License in 2007. Today I’m involved in Service Nation Alliance Group, and currently a mentor for 2 groups with 6 members in each group. We meet once a week by Go To Meeting where we review budget numbers, labor as % of sales, GPM, and Net Income. I have presented 2 presentations during Comfortech in the past and work with Service Nation Alliance, Goodman and Johnstone to ensure Bensons HVAC is getting the best possible rebates, and services.

Justin performed a very thorough test, inspection of our two systems. He was very knowledgeable about the operation of HVAC systems and made reasonable recommendations. We look forward to having him return for future services per the agreement.

We have maintained our service contract with Benson's for over the past 12 years. They provide outstanding and timely service when needed for problem calls and do a great maintenance exam every 6 months.

Phillip was very professional and thorough, completing the task in a timely manner. He was on time, COVID safe and explained everything that he had done and pleasantly answered any questions.
