Help Us All Stay Safe!

By limiting the time we are inside your home, we help each other! The next time you need service from Benson’s, follow the procedure below. This will ensure the time your technician is at your house is well-spent!

  1. Verify the breaker is on to the AC unit. ***Note*** If the panel is outside and unlocked, our technician will check it. 
  2. Make sure the batteries are new in the thermostat. 
  3. Turn the air conditioning on at the switch for all thermostats (if more than one is in use).
  4. Move the temperature down 5 degrees to keep the unit operating. 
  5. Check all vents to verify that they are open and have good airflow. 
  6. Check the air filter and remove and replace as necessary. If you are not able to accomplish this, please let us know ahead of time. 
  7. After 10 to 15 minutes of operation, make sure the air is starting to feel cold. 
  8. After the technician is finished, reset the thermostat back to its normal setting.
  9. Let us know your email so we can send you our report electronically.

Josh was friendly, told me what he was going to do, and helped install a replacement air filter. When he was done he told me what all he did and helped me order replacement air filters. He did a great job for us.

Colton performed a bi-annual inspection of our AC system. He fixed a problem that we didn't know we have. Was covered by the annual service agreement, so no additional cost. He was very thorough.

Benson's is absolutely fantastic. Their customer service is second to none. We had an emergency repair needed and everyone was top notch. I called after regular hours and got an immediate call back..As part of there maintenance plan, we received Saturday service and had no charge for unclogging a drain pan.Before they came, they texted and emailed a picture/name of the tech and outlined their Covid steps. I highly recommend Benson.
