The customer approved an estimate for a motor module combo. I returned Thursday, August 28 and installed the new motor and module. After installation, I tested your system operations. Your system is operating/cooling properly at this time
Installed a new 18 Seer 24K BTU Samsung Mini Split Heat Pump in the dome house. The new system comes with a 10 year parts and 1 year labor warranty. The electrical was not what we requested, we requested a dedicated 30Amp 240Volt service. The electrician did not provide a service for the mini split. We wired the mini split and surge protector into a disconnect so when the electrician runs their electrical line for the mini split they may wire directly into the disconnect and mount.
Upon arrival, I found the customers system not cooling properly due to a bad indoor blower motor/module combo. I sent an estimate to replace the motor/module combo. The estimate was approved. We will call to schedule insulation as soon as the motor arrives in our hands. The motor is 2 to 3 business days out .

Jeremy called me to let me know when he would arrive. Listened to what our problem was and went straight to work. He was knowledgeable and was able to give me some borrowed time, unit 15yo. Definitely would recommend him!
Upon arrival, I found the customer’s system not cooling properly due to a week compressor. The compressor was running around 160 pound suction. I tried to let a little refrigerant out to see if it would go down but I had no luck your compressor is on borrowed time. I will be shocked if it makes it through the summer heat. The system is 15+ years old. I highly recommend saving the money for a repair which would probably be around $4000 and putting it towards the cost of a new system install something with a warranty.. The customer agreed and is interested in a proposal with options on a new system. I will get one emailed ASAP. As far as your system. It’s on borrowed time. It’s just doing everything it can. The compressor will get worse and worse as time goes on or it may even go completely out. The system is on and cooling. There’s only about a 10° temp split, though

Jeremy provided the good service I expect from Benson’s.
Upon arrival, the customers complaint was the system intermittently making a slight knocking noise. When I arrived, the system was on and running. The customer said it’s cooling fine. It just makes a noise every now and then. I had the customer turn the system off. I got in the attic to the air handler where he says the noise is coming from. I had turned the system back on everything came on and was running good and looked as good as it could for the age of the system. I will do a follow up in a week or so just to see if the customer is still hearing the noise.
