Customer said thermostat was blank. Found the fuse to be blown on the system. Replaced fuse and it blew immediately. Checked all low voltage components and found no issues with them. The 24v hot wire had some exposed copper. Wrapped wire with electrical tape and turned system back on. It started cooling with no issues. Thank you for your business.

07/10/2026- I arrived on site to find the compressor in thermal overload lockout and the capacitor weak. I cooled off the compressor and replaced the faulty capacitor and tested the unit. The unit started working properly and without any issues. I verified that the compressor was amping out within specifications and that the unit is cooling properly with a 20 degree temperature split. This units warranty has expired since this customer isn’t the original owner of this house, so I collected for the diagnostic and the universal capacitor I installed today. I have verified that this unit is currently functioning and cooling properly at the time of service.
