09/20/2026- I arrived on site to find the contactor faulty and the downstairs area had a bad smell due to dirty sock syndrome on the evaporation coil. I replaced the faulty contactor and cleaned and sprayed the evaporator coil with treatment to eliminate the smell and coat the coil to prevent the smell from coming back. I then tested the unit and have verified that the unit is functioning and cooling properly. The unit will smell heavily of cleaner for a couple days, but this smell will dissipate as the bacteria that caused the smell is removed by the treatment. I have informed the customer to keep an eye on the unit and to contact us if she has any issue, questions, or concerns. However, this unit is now working properly at the time of service.
