03/18/2026- I arrived on site to find the 20x25x4 Honeywell air filter dirty and causing excessive amp draw. After I removed the dirty air filter the units temperature and amp draw reverted to acceptable levels and are within manufacture specifications. I verified that the unit is heating the supply air to 115 degrees and is heating properly. I monitored the unit for 15 minutes under maximum load and confirmed that no issues occurred. The customer said that she would have her husband change the air filter when he gets back. This unit is currently working properly at the time of service.

I found several runs on the supply side had been chewed into by critters. Aside from this the unit is functioning as it should. I cleaned both outdoor units thoroughly from the pad to the coil. The dryer vent exhaust is right next to the condenser, it would be worth looking at having it moved to prevent excessive lent from clogging the condenser coil.
