Diagnostic/ Not Cooling: Found unit to not be cooling properly, found filter extremely dirty, once removed filter my pressures went down and unit was cooling, after letting the system run for 30 minutes found subcool slightly low along with a high superheat. Added a pound R-410A and then preformed an electronic leak search on Evaporator coil and Condenser. Found shader core leaking in evaporator coil, tightened down core and preformed another leak search did not find anything else. Along with cleared drain line due to build in line. System is cooling properly now, system’s evaporator coil is not in the best of shape. I informed customer of my the condition and informed them that with the condition of coil, it is very possible a leak could spring in the winter/ heat mode time as the evaporator coil will be under high pressure.
