Tom seemed to be very thorough, waiting patiently for several different approaches to try and fail.
Customer said that the unit was blowing out hot air. Found the reversing valve to not be engaging into cooling mode. Checked thermostat and everything was set up correctly. After turning thermostat back on the reversing valve engaged just fine. Checked operation of unit and it shut down after about 10 minutes, this was most likely due to a power surge that seems to of reset the cable as well. Unit ran for about 10 minutes before shutting off again. Found filter to be dirty so I replaced the filter with a customer provided one. Unit turned off again with the thermostat satisfying at 75 before jumping up to 77 shortly after. This is most likely caused by the vent in the bathroom next to the thermostat to be putting out a lot of air making the thermostat read a touch lower. Turned thermostat way down to watch it run for 20 minutes with no issue, when I turned the thermostat back off the temperature did not raise shortly after. Thank you for your business.

Great and timely matter service
10/14/2025- I arrived on site and replaced the faulty blower motor with OEM parts. After installation of the new equipment I tested the new motor in every mode of operation and have confirmed that the unit is now functioning properly. I then tested the unit under load and have verified that this unit is functioning and cooling properly with a 20 degree temperature split. All components are functioning within spec and this unit is working properly at the time of service. The customer has paid $900.00 is cash and the remaining $12.71 with card. The customer approved an estimate I sent out after the maintenance last week to replace a bad damper actuator for the zone system. I have to replacing the zone damper actuator. I tested the damper in the system operations. Your zone system is operating properly at this time .
Upon arrival, I found the customer’s Dyke and split system not cooling properly due to the condenser being tripped on a hard lockout at the Copeland scroll protector. I checked the capacitor in the system operations and everything checked out good when I reset the Copeland school protector the system came on and started cooling properly. I then checked the pressures and everything checked out good to go in. The system dropped from 78° and was satisfied at 76° before I could leave. Your system is operating properly at this time

I found the system somewhat low on refrigerant and I found a leak in the evaporator coil. I have given an estimate to replace the coil. The system is cooling and heating properly in the meantime.

Today I performed a routine maintenance on your HVAC equipment. I checked all electrical connections on both indoor and outdoor equipment. Washed your filters flushed your drain lines checked your capacitor ratings and then check system operations after the maintenance. During the maintenance I noticed the upstairs zone was stuck open, which it explained why it’s so cold up there. I will go back in the history and see when we last replaced them and get an estimate emailed over ASAP if they’re no longer under warranty to replaced the zone damper actuator. Other than that, everything else is operating properly at this time .
While I understand all new employees need on job experience, my preference in the future for my address, is to always have a long term, seasoned employee for ANY services needed. As long as that requirement for me is met, I’m happy! Newbies miss things and they need someone supervising them until they get it right!
Upon arrival I found the customer’s secondary pan had been filling up with water since the end of July. We were just out at the end of July for the same thing and the customers had to empty the drain pan twice since. After further inspecting the system, I found where the primary drain line comes out of the air handler cabinet. It had popped out of the coupling and was draining out of the armor flex directly into the secondary pan. I was able to get the drain back in the coupling. I flushed the drain line and then let the system run until it started draining. Your system is cooling/draining properly at this time

Upon arrival, I found the customer’s water source heat pump, not cooling properly due to a clogged drain line, causing the water to back up into the primary pan causing the safety float switch to kill the low-voltage call for the compressor. I sent an estimate to flush the drain line. The estimate was approved. After flushing the drain line I turned the system back on and made sure the system came on and started cooling properly.
