Upon arrival, I found the customers three communicating thermostats, not communicating with the outdoor air temp sensor. I also found one of the damper actuators not closing the damper all the way for the upstairs bedroom. I was able to adjust the damper actuator and get the damper working properly. I reprogrammed/reconnected all three thermostats to the outdoor sensor. I disassemble the outdoor sensor and found where the batteries snap in the metal prongs, holding the batteries in were extremely loose and the batteries were coming out. The sensor was also mounted on a door which got opened and closed periodically. After adjusting the battery prongs on the sensor and relocating the sensor. All three thermostats were reconnected and everything is on and working properly at this time. .

I replaced the failed dual run capacitor with a new turbo 200 capacitor and the system turned on checked component amperage’s and everything is reading within manufacture specifications . Upon arrival, I found the customers Daikin mini split not cooling properly due to a low refrigerant charge. The system was almost completely out of refrigerant. It holds a little over 2 pounds. I sent an estimate for 2 pounds. The estimate was approved. After adding 2 pounds of refrigerant the system started cooling properly . I then performed an electronic leak search. But the wind and rain was so bad outside. My leak detector was trying to hit outside in the condenser, but I will have to do a follow up and return when the weather is better so I can be positive. We will call to schedule a follow up. The customer is also interested in prices on a new mini split. Your system is cooling properly at this time. There is no guarantee to how long the refrigerant will last.
